Cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code are part of my wider systems engineering work. This companion notebook brings together technical references, study plans and hands-on experiments, building on more than 20 years across Windows, Linux, identity and automation.

๐ŸŽ‰ Itโ€™s live here: Terraforming My Career

๐Ÿ“˜ What Youโ€™ll Find

At launch in May 2025, the notebook included:

  • ๐Ÿ›  Terraform: from getting started to change management and teardown
  • ๐Ÿ“š Learning Plans: structured study alongside practical infrastructure work
  • ๐Ÿณ Sections for Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS (in progress)
  • ๐Ÿ“– Reading Notes from books like Terraform: Up & Running

Everything is structured in folders, rendered with Just the Docs, and completely searchable.

๐Ÿ” Why Iโ€™m Doing This

Publishing engineering notes helps me:

  • Keep technical references and lab findings organised
  • Share approaches and tradeoffs with other engineers
  • Build writing discipline and clarity of thought

Over time, this space will grow into a personal knowledge base and lab journal โ€” and youโ€™re welcome to follow along.
